Cali Floors Windansea High Tide LVP is 100% waterproof, making it easy to clean and perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Each plank is fortified from within by GeoCore — a layer of limestone composite that resists indentation and keeps flooring stable. Cut installation days in half with an interlocking system that requires no glue, nails, or acclimation wait time. Plus, Cali Floors Cali Floors Windansea High Tide planks come with attached acoustic padding, for a quieter, more comfortable flooring experience.

Acceptable Subfloor Types
- CD Exposure 1 plywood (grade stamped US PS1-95)
- OSB Exposure 1subfloor panels (grade stamped US PS1-95)

Wood subfloors must be securely fastened. A best practice is to nail or screw every 6” along joists to avoid squeaking. If leveling is needed, sand down high spots and fill in low spots with a Portland based leveling compound.
Concrete subfloors must be fully cured and at least 60 days old, preferably 90 days old. If leveling is needed, grind down high spots and level low spots with a Portland based leveling compound.

Lead times can vary but typically in stock flooring items will ship within 1-2 business weeks, with approximately 3-8 days via freight truck which calls ahead to schedule a delivery appointment. This product is crushed limestone core with virgin PVC printed on top, so the answer is vinyl. The company name is Cali Bamboo. Their vinyl products are topped with a 20mm wear layer, and Cali Bamboo specifically targets concerns regarding high heels and pet claws. You'll see much of their flooring images include pets for this specific reason. Cali Bamboo products are absolutely durable enough to withstand pet traffic. Thank you!Answered by the admin It is inert virgin vinyl atop crushed limestone core. Holds up excellently to pet claws and high heels, and Cali Bamboo makes that abundantly clear. With a 20mm wear layer, we sincerely doubt even the largest of dogs could damage this floor. Thanks!
