SolaceAir Series 3 Air Purification System
SolaceAir Series 3 Germicidal UVC Systems and Series3 UVC/UVV Systems offer a versatile, full line of whole-house air purification solutions that install directly into the central heating and cooling system ductwork or plenum. The high intensity Dual-RadiantTM UVC “H” Lamp disinfects the air by neutralizing airborne pathogens including bacteria, viruses and mold.
According to the EPA, the combined use of filtration and germicidal UVC light is an effective means of preventing the distribution of airborne viruses in occupied spaces. With ultraviolet light, micro-watts translate to effectiveness. Series3 sixteen-inch (16”) UVC lamps produce a very high output of 180 micro-watts @ 1 meter which is significantly higher than most UVC lamps on the market. Series3 twelve-inch (12”) UVC lamps produce 150 microwatts @ 1 meter.

Read moreAsked by on June 20, 2020 4:29 AMAnswered by the admin The RS2 doesn't come standard with an ozone generation system, so I would reach out to your supplier or contractor to inquire as to the model number of the ozone unit you received. If its a Series 3, the 5 inch UVV lamp in the Series 3 UV system creates 50 mg per hour of ozone. That is enough to create 30 ppb within 2 feet of the lamp, yet through the oxidation process and the natural decaying of ozone, it dissipates very quickly in the ducts. Average ozone readings taken outdoors is 50 ppb. Ozone readings that have been taken in several indoor air environments using the Solace UVV systems show no reading at all in the breathing space. Meaning that the ozone is used up doing its job in the ducts. There is a adjustable dial for those that may be hyper sensitive to any undetectable reading of ozone, yet detectable by scent. Most people like the freshness off any residual scent. For those that do not, the unit call be turned down. With that said, some people can smell ozone below the levels that an ozone meter can read, which is 1 PPB.
