Earth Weave’s lowest pile product constructed from the finest all natural wool available. At 30 ounces, Dolomite is not as thick as other products but it still has excellent durability – it is suitable for all residential applications as well as light commercial.

Earth Weave Dolomite: The illustration below shows Earth Weave Dolomite manufacturing technique and exactly what makes Bio-Floor a truly nontoxic, all natural carpet made in North America. The Bio-Floor line is used extensively by those suffering from chemical sensitivity as well as those that are concerned about the home environment. Earth Weave has gone to great lengths to test and confirm a carpet product that meets the demands of our clients yet sacrifices nothing in the way of styling, comfort and durability.
Earth Weave Dolomite starts by using only pure wool. No pesticides or stain protections that are commonly used by the other wool carpet manufacturers. The application of these chemicals would greatly affect indoor air quality through the off gassing of volatile organic compounds.
The primary backing that Earth Weave uses is also an industry first combination of hemp and cotton. They chose to use the hardy hemp fiber, due to its durability, strength, and mold and mildew resistance. Their all-natural primary backing is specifically designed to be used in biodegradable flooring and is exclusive to Earth Weave.
The wool yarns are locked into place with a natural adhesive that is derived from the rubber tree. This adhesive is completely biodegradable and nontoxic as well as opposed to the styrene butadiene adhesive used in all other wool carpets.
Founded in 1996, Earth Weave was the first carpet manufacturer in the United States to introduce a running line product that incorporates only 100% natural materials.
Earth Weave’s Bio-Floor carpet is completely different than any of the other wool carpets made today that are full of claims to be eco-friendly and natural. Those products are full of synthetic chemicals whether it is the non-organic face yarn dyes, mothproofing, stain protection and/or in the synthetic styrene butadiene adhesive backing. Earth Weave’s entire line can be used without reservation to provide the utmost in comfort and durability while maintaining indoor air quality and your health.

Lead Time
Lead times can vary but typically in stock carpeting will ship within 1-2 business weeks, with approximately 3-8 days via freight truck which calls ahead to schedule a delivery appointment. Occasionally backordered carpeting is unknown until time of order.
