Safecoat DynoFlex RoofGuard is a unique, high performance, water based, low odor roof coating suitable for properly primed roofs. It is mildew and water resistant and resists weather elements. RoofGuard has excellent bridging qualities and can be used to patch, seal and bridge hairline cracks. DynoFlex RoofGuard provides excellent elongation and waterproofing qualities when applied at proper film thickness. RoofGuard adds surface reflectivity to help control roof heat gain.
100 square feet per gallon. Rougher or more porous surfaces may require more material. 15 mils dry film thickness is recommended for best protection. Maximum pro- tection can be achieved with use in a roof system when applied with Safecoat DynoSeal for a total dry film thickness of 30 mils.

THINNING:
Small amounts of water if needed. None normally needed.
COVERAGE:
100 square feet per gallon. Rougher or more porous surfaces may require more material. 15 mils dry film thickness is recommended for best protection. Maximum protection can be achieved with use in a roof system when applied with Safecoat DynoSeal for a total dry film thickness of 30 mils.
APPLICATION:
Roll or apply by spray. Spray application is the preferred method. Two coats are recommended. Adequate film thickness determines the life and protection of the coating. Do not apply when rain or heavy fog is expected within 72 hours of application. Do not apply on cold, damp, or foggy days. Temperature should remain above 50 degrees F during first 12 hours of coating cure cycle. Note: these instructions are intended to be general only and not exhaustive. The applicator should determine which preparation and techniques are best suited to the specific surface.
CLEAN-UP:
Clean tools and equipment while they are still wet with a solution of SafeChoice Super Clean and warm water. Dry coating may have to be stripped off equipment with a stronger chemical.

I have a 1975 home in Tucson w/elastnomeric roof in good condition and I want to do rainwater harvesting and have the water be clean. I looked at http://afmsafecoat.com/products/roofing-foundation and wondered if I’d need all 3 products if wanting to recoat roof: to deal with sealing any small cracks or areas near roof penetrations like water heater pipe and solar panel feet, then coating the roof a few times. Or could I get away with not using the Dynoseal ‘primer’ and just do the sealer then a few top coats? I read a book by local water harvesting expert Brad Lancaster and he mentioned using safecoat elastnomeric roof coatings so the water feeding tanks from his roof would be cleaner.
