Chemlink CLEAR is a moisture curing, polyether sealant designed for application in damp, dry, humid, or cold climates. Better than a silcone or a urethane ! Clear is solvent free and contains no isocyanates. Clear will not shrink upon curing, will not discolor when exposed to UV light, and does not “out-gas” or bubble on damp surfaces as urethane sealants often do.
Clear has resilient “elastomeric” properties and excellent adhesion to most construction materials such as; wood, metal, glass, EIFS, Acrylic, EPS foam, brick, concrete and stone. It works well in joints that expand or contract more than 25%. Unlike most silicones, CLEAR is rain-ready within 20 minutes, compared to 1-3 hours, and Clear is paintable within 24 hours. Clear can be used effectively in many difficult construction site conditions, curing in wet or dry, humid, and cold climate conditions as low as temperatures 32°F (0°C).
