What makes AFM Safecoat safer than other paint?
AFM Safecoat paint was developed 30 years ago specifically to address the concerns of those with Environmental Illness and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity. Thousands of those customers have had great success using Safecoat in their homes.
Why? Mainly because AFM makes their Safecoat paints to be free of health hazards and toxins. It's true that every manufacturer of paint these days produces a "zero VOC" paint. But that only means that they have removed the voc's and replaced them with other dangerous ingredients that are not regulated as voc's. Ingredients like ammonia, acetone, butyl acetate, formaldehyde precursors and chemical masking agents are commonly used in these so-called "eco-friendly" paints.
Beyond all of the technical stuff, Safecoat is just a really good paint! Its priced very competitive, available in thousands of colors and has a 30 year track record of success. Why use anything else? ;)

We use only Safecoat Paint in our retail store and get tons of complements on the pureness of our space. Many customers remark when first entering our store about the smell, there is none! People ask us what we use to give our store the great smell it has. Our response is nothing, people are simply astounded that what they smell is pure, clean space with no out-gassing of chemicles. What they smell are our handmade organic soaps and soy candles, that's it. A major reason for the great non-toxic order of our store is because of the Safecoat Paints and stains used to decorate our space. They really are the best paints and stains available and you WILL notice a difference immediately.
